Special
Note to Parents:
Thank
you for your interest in
studying private music.
Developing musical skills as a
child can ease the pain of math,
science, and logic (among
others) in a child's journey
through academics; therefore,
choosing a teacher that works
well with you and especially
with your child is vital.
Please feel free to visit the
following website:
http://www.mtna.org/choosemt.htm
to
find out what to look for in
your search for an instructor.
Not all music lessons or
instructors are the same.
Please
remember this is an investment
in the life and future of your
child. I would like to
encourage you to make a well
thought out decision.
Children acquire much more
than musical aptitudes in
lessons and it is my goal to
ensure I address these as well
as the many skills gained in
musical study. Self
confidence, coordination, and
problem solving-among others
are skills acquired in private
lessons and application.
Please feel free to read up on
these
twelve
skills as well as
many other positive elements
of private study as defined by
the Texas Conservatory.
Please contact the studio at
402-201-2403
or
privatemusic@sloan-studios.com
for
available dates and
times. I would be happy
to set up an interview to
determine whether or not the
studio will meet your needs.
We are looking forward to
meeting you!
